A unique concept : Forest Adventure Run on 24 November
When one is close to nature, health and fitness comes naturally. 21st century lifestyle tells us that we can choose either a successful life or a healthy life. But why not both?
At Rakshak World Foundation, our vision is to provide assistance to the underprivileged and bring to light the unsung heroes from all walks of life, with a special focus on serving the Community in Uniform. We also aim to synonymise health with happiness by organising many exciting activities related to Fitness, Sports, and Mental Health.
That’s why, Foundation is bringing together the art of fitness and the healing touch of nature to create a first-of-its-kind experience. On 24th of November 2019 (at 6.00 am), we are planning to organise the first Forest Adventure Run (FAR) at City Forest, Ghaziabad. Situated at Karheda Village, Raj Nagar Extension. City forest is spread over 150 acres at the bank of river Hindon and houses a picturesque Lake with boating facility available.
With thrilling activities for fitness enthusiasts of all ages, FAR is where fitness becomes fun. We have collaborated with fitness experts and designed a first-of-its-kind race & obstacle course in the lap of nature. Inspired by FIT INDIA MOVEMENT, our flagship event is a 3 km race with adrenaline-filled obstacles like Burma Bridge, Tarzan Swing, Zig-zag walk, Commando Net, and a long jump, Monkey bar, Monkey Crawling, Tunnel crossing, Hitting the wall, Beam Balance, Catwalk course.
The winners of the event across all ages ( 14 years to 60 years ) and gender categories will be awarded 12 exciting prizes. Our goal, however, is to provide fitness and fun for all, therefore, all participants will be awarded t-shirts, certificates, and finishers’ medals. The event will start with music and dance warmup. There is a discount entry facility for School students, NCC cadets, Defence, Para Military and Police personnel. Participants can get themselves registered at various platforms.
